Planit Testing are one of our newer tenants on the scene. With a large Waikato team, their office at Panama Square serves as the perfect base to pop in and out from. Paul answers a couple of questions for us.
How long have you been in business/ worked for this company?
Planit has been in business around 20 Years, I’ve worked there for 10 Years.
How many people in your team?
In Hamilton we have around 20 staff.
In one sentence, tell us what you do.
Testing for medium and large software projects to reduce the risk of failures in live systems
How did you end up doing what you’re doing?
Started in Software development, and moved into testing when this was a growing new discipline.
How long have you been a Panama resident?
Around two-three months.
Favourite co-working perk?
Just enjoying the space.
What is your favourite kind of work/ project?
Large functional testing projects in new interesting areas of software.
Favourite place to holiday?
Fiji.
What was your first job?
Software Developer.
If you had to change industry, what job would you choose?
Landscape gardening.
Biggest life lesson so far?
Expectations make a big difference to experiences.

Being able to walk into town.

Salsa Dancing and Karate (not at the same time).

My wife.

England, I have friends and family there.
