Matt and Jaimee answers a couple of questions for us:
How long have you been in business?
Since 2011.
In one sentence, tell us what you do.
We are commercial property developers with a passion for creating unique and thoughtfully designed spaces that foster community throughout the central city.
How did you end up doing what you’re doing?
While in the process of looking for a suitable central city office space for my father’s company, we realised the lack of commercial leasing opportunities in the city with the option of full office design and fit out. We worked on a space located on the top floor of a five-story office building, overlooking Garden Place and turned it into an events space with meeting rooms and a full cafe. Then we bought our first commercial building in 2011.
What do you love most about being a Panama resident?
Working among people doing so many different things and then seeing residents collaborate.
Favourite place to holiday?
We love Mount Maunganui.
What is your favourite project you’ve worked on so far?
Panama Square. It was great to see it come together and fill up fast. We love seeing heaps of people using the space.
What do you do in your spare time?
Try to get our children to sleep and hang out with friends and family.
If you had to change industry, what job would you choose?
Matt - I’d be a police officer.
